About

Zacharie Mega is a multimedia artist representing Hartford, CT who is currently based in Boston, MA. He is the proud son of two immigrant parents who have inspired his quest to become a respected artist and an articulate creative force. His mother was born in Peru; his father was born in Indonesia. They met in America, and Zach will never take the unlikelihood of those circumstances for granted.

In May of 2020, Zach graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics alongside a minor in Graphics & Information Design. Residing in Boston these days, Zach is confidently pursuing a career in the arts by any means necessary.

Zach’s father is an architect, and at an early age he was exposed to tools and mediums that have proved pivotal in actualizing his ideas. Encouraged by his parents and brother Max, Zach never stopped exploring his creative potential. It is his personal belief that the best artists are the ones able to most effectively express a sense of self through their work. One day Zach hopes to be regarded as an artist who is able to do just that while collaborating with similarly minded people. Such endeavors give his life purpose. These pursuits make him feel fulfilled, and happy.

A Letter Between Brothers

I’m proud of you.
I’m proud of all that we’ve accomplished, and I’m excited for all that we will accomplish.
Don’t be afraid to fail.
Learn from your mistakes, learn from mine.
We carry the long, tired legacy of immigrants with us wherever we go.
Determination is in our blood.
Never apologize for who you are, or where we come from.
Hold your head high.
Demand respect.
Remember that you, and you alone, define your happiness.
Manifest the change you want to see in this world.
Fight for others how I would fight for you.
We are the future, never forget that.
Love you.
